TRIPTYCH: Stronger Together unveils a new body of work by Jonathan Harris while Crystal Starks-Webb and Terrell Anglin exhibit series of their art for the first time.
Working in oils, Harris’ paintings shine a light on contemporary black male conditions, aspirations, and thought; Starks-Webb’s lush gardens of the mind are revealed through her fictional and real-life muses, and; Anglin employs fire to meticulously render subjects from past and present life.
Each a powerful, creative force on their own, these three emerging artists, born and bound by common soil, have combined forces to narrate a story of the beauty, complexities and strength of a people.
